When I look around, you stand out to me. You don’t blend into the crowd. You’re the one that my eyes go to. You are unique. You are eye-catching. I am drawn to you. You are not like the rest. Christ’s chosen and mine.
I see the things you’re insecure about, and I find you absolutely captivating. You impress me and please me.
My soul rejoices in you, fairest daughter of the King. For years, I’ve prayed for you. For months, I’ve grown in wonder at you
You are capable of feeling that most of us have no access to. You grasp the mood and feelings of other people and the atmosphere of places with seismographic precision.
You are like a bright violet of hollyhock.
You put your gifts to work to awaken a sense of beauty and harmony in your surrounding. You have the gift of helping others to develop an eye for the beautiful and the world of dreams.
You are highly sensitive. At times, the anger over the loss that has been suffered is so deep that it can’t be tolerated. Your pain wasn’t meaningless.
But don’t direct your anger to yourself.
Your life question is: “What do you think of me? Do you notice me? Do I catch your eye?”
You prefer long conversation over coffee or tea or red wine.
You have an internal child that is struggling with feelings of inferiority, “I don’t deserve to be loved.”
You need to experience loyalty that stands firm.
The fruit of spirit is “balance.” If you can admit that you are in God and God is in you, your soul will come to rest and will have balance that you yearned for.
Until then, this love will look to the horizon, waiting for him.
