Never Abandon Hope

You call me out upon the waters. The great unknown where feet may fail. And there I find You in the mystery. In oceans deep, my faith will stand.

Throughout the Bible bodies of water are often a barrier to blessings. God had to split the Red Sea to set the Israelites free from slavery (Exodus 14:21-22). God had to stop the flow of the Jordan during flood stages so his people could enter the promise land (Joshua 3:15-16).

In some parts of The Bible often use bodies of water as symbols for evil, death, and chaos.

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the waters. Wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander. And my faith will be made stronger, in the presence of my Savior.

There will be no sea (Revelations 21:1)

Isn’t this our prayer? Never abandon Hope!
